Customers are billed monthly for each active device in their account, so disabling unused devices will lower costs.
Here is a quick tutorial on bulk disabling/enabling devices in the Dashboard.
To disable devices, click the Devices navigation item. Then, select the devices you want to disable by clicking the check box next to the IDs. Click the Status button that appears in the right-hand corner, select "Disable" from the dropdown menu, and confirm your selection.
You can also select all devices by clicking the check box in the header row.
If a device is disabled, the platform will not accept data from the device, even though the device may be sending it.
Enabling a disabled device will prompt the platform to begin accepting data from it.
To enable, select the devices with disable status (white dot) and enable by clicking the check box next to the Device IDs. Click the Status button that appears in the right-hand corner, select "Enable" from the dropdown menu, and confirm your selection.
